| Resumo | The state of Amapá is the most preserved in the country, with 97% forest cover, and 73% of the territory under legal protection, either by conservation units, indigenous or quilombola lands, but in the last years there have been no technical and scientific studies with the objective of measuring and identifying the deforestation authorized in the State. Without the distinction of legal deforestation from illegal, it is not possible to guide public actions and policies directly applied to illegal activities. The main goal of this research was to analyze the impact of legal deforestation on the total deforestation on the Amapá State, using geotechnology tools the years 2009 and 2010. For spatial analysis, the Geographic Information System (GIS), the software used was ArcGIS, by correlate deforested areas and environmental authorizations issued. The results showed that in the years 2009 and 2010, illegal deforestation reached 97,30%. It was evident that geotechnology is a prominent tool due to its functionality, demonstrating the possibility and necessity of applying geoprocessing to the analysis of legal deforestation. |
